Sargodha: The meeting of the committee established by the Chief Secretary to monitor the ongoing road construction and repair schemes in Sargodha Division was held in its conference room under the chairmanship of Commissioner Muhammad Ajmal Bhatti. Deputy Commissioner Sargodha Captain Retired Shoaib, Deputy Commissioner Mianwali Sajjad Ahmed Khan, Director Development Bilal Hassan and Deputy Director Technical Rana Shahid Imran, Sargodha, Khushab and Mianwali Axion Road and Deputy Director Development participated in the meeting. The meeting was told that work is going on on 9 schemes estimated at Rs 4 billion 90 crore in Sargodha, Khushab and Mianwali. Till June 2 billion 23 crore 30 lakh rupees have been spent on these schemes and another 5 crore 33 lakh rupees funds have been released for these schemes.
Commissioner Muhammad Ajmal Bhatti directed to form a committee consisting of Director Development Bilal Hassan, Deputy Director Technical Rana Shahid Imran and Axion Road Farman Mekan for the physical audit of these schemes. The committee will visit the ongoing schemes in the three districts and conduct lab tests and present its report on the deficiencies found in the schemes in the next meeting.
