Islamabad: The MRI machines in the major government hospitals PIMS and NIRM of Islamabad have been malfunctioning for a long time and could not be repaired. Due to non-availability of MRI facilities in government hospitals, private MRI centers are increasing the problems of patients by conducting this test in 25,000. Sources have revealed that this includes the commission of Doctor of Government hospitals. Non-availability of expensive tests like MRI in the federal capital Islamabad’s government hospitals is a question mark on the performance of the Ministry of Health and Abdul Qadir Patel. Public circles have appealed to the Prime Minister to take personal interest and solve this problem while talking to Daily Soon Times.
