Farmers protest in front of Madan Mohan Mittal’s caravan
The farmer’s foot came under the BJP leader’s convoy; Police chased the farmers and threw them towards the fields

Today, farmers in village Rampur Jajjar besieged senior BJP leader Madan Mohan Mittal and protested. A heavy police force led by SP Rupnagar district reached the spot and evacuated BJP workers including Madan Mohan Mittal and his son Advocate Arvind Mittal under tight security. Has arrived The Punjab police had to crack down on the farmers’ protest and the police washed away the farmers and threw them towards the fields. Mittal, on the other hand, said that the protesters were not farmers but activists from the Congress and Aam Aadmi Party, including liquor smugglers from Himachal Pradesh and members of the illegal mining mafia. Meanwhile, District Police SP Ajinder Singh said that the farmers have been sidelined by the police but no force has been used.
