FDA Demolishes Illegal Grand City Housing Scheme on Narwala Road Faisalabad

The Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) has intensified its crackdown on illegal housing schemes by demolishing an unauthorized project known as “Grand City” located on Narwala Road. The action was taken after authorities discovered that the scheme was being developed without fulfilling the required legal formalities.

According to an FDA spokesperson, the enforcement operation was conducted under the supervision of Director Town Planning Asma Mohsin and Deputy Director Town Planning Faran Siddiqui. During routine inspections, officials identified that the Grand City project in Chak No. 59-JB was operating illegally.

The enforcement team promptly took action by demolishing the under-construction structures, sealing the project office, and confiscating important office equipment. Authorities have directed the developers to comply with all necessary legal and departmental requirements before proceeding with any development work.

The FDA has also issued a strong warning, stating that strict legal and criminal action will be taken if violations continue. This step is part of a broader effort to eliminate illegal housing schemes and protect citizens from fraudulent investments.

Citizens have been strongly advised to remain cautious when investing in real estate. The FDA recommends verifying the legal status of any housing project through the Town Planning Department before making any financial commitments.

This action highlights the authority’s commitment to ensuring transparency, legality, and the protection of public interests in Faisalabad’s real estate sector.
