Sargodha (Soon Times), Population Welfare Department in collaboration with UNFTA organized a big festival and cultural show at Suholat Bazaar of THQ Hospital Shahpur. Where the Department of Women’s Development, Social Welfare, Education and Population set up readymade garments, mini industry Zarki set up boutique stalls, Family Planning, THQ Hospital set up medicine camps and other departments. The festival was inaugurated by Additional Deputy Commissioner General Bilal FerozJoya. Tableau shows and other programs were presented to entertain the guests on the occasion. The children sang songs related to Independence Day. The Additional Deputy Commissioner along with District Officer Welfare Population and AC Shahpur inspected various stalls. He distributed prizes among the children who performed well in Tablo, NaatKhawani. Under the Healthy Mother Scheme, special gift packages were distributed among Nadia Batool, AmnaNaseem, IsmatParveen and Yasmeen Malik. Citizens enthusiastically participated in the fair and bought various items.
