For every writer!

When Allama Qastalani (may Allah have mercy on him) wrote Mawahib Ludniya, he also took help from the books of Imam Suyuti (may Allah have mercy on him) in it, but he did not even mention Imam Sahib. Imam Sahib was shocked by this and complained: “They have taken help from my books and have not acknowledged it; it is a kind of” betrayal “, which is flawed in copying and hiding the truth.” The complaint of Imam Sahib increased to such an extent that it was presented as a case before Shaykh-ul-Islam Zakaria Ansari (may Allah have mercy on him) – Qazi Sahib listened to the parties. Imam Suyuti on several occasions accused Allama Qastalani and said that he has referred to Bayhaqi in many places in his book. Tell me where are the reference books of Bayhaqi from which he copied ?? Allama Qastalani could not give any answer, to which Imam Suyuti said: You have narrated from my books and I have narrated from the books of Imam Bayhaqi. So you should have confessed like this: Naql al-Suyuti an al-Bayhaqi kadza – so that I would have been paid the right to use it and you would have been relieved of the responsibility of copying – Allama Qastalani finally rose from the court of Shaykh-ul-Islam as an accused. – Allama Qastalani always thought that this evil should be washed from the heart of Imam Suyuti, but … failed – one day he (forgiving Imam Suyuti) intended to go to Egypt (Cairo). He left and walked to the shrine (the place of Imam Suyuti), which was far away from Egypt – he knocked on the door – Imam Suyuti (may Allah have mercy on him) asked: Who? Asked: Ahmad, stand barefoot and bare-headed at the door. I am Ahmad, standing at the door barefoot and barefoot for forgiveness. Please take away your perfect heart and please me !! Imam Suyuti, without opening the door and meeting him, simply replied: “I have removed the evil from my heart” (in short: Bastan al-Muhaddithin Farsi, by Shah Abdul Aziz Muhaddith Dehlavi, p. 120, at Muhammadi Press, Lahore)
