OKARA (News Desk): The Ghazi Public Higher Secondary School (GPHSS), Pul Dhool, clinched the top three positions in the Punjab Education Curriculum, Training and Assessment Authority (PECTA) Grade 8 annual examination 2026, reflecting its strong academic performance.
According to the results announced by PECTA, Hania Roman secured the first position with 299 marks. She also topped both the Board Cluster Centre Phul Dhool and Cluster Centre Bhatta Muhabbat. Nimra Ashraf secured the second position with 298 marks, while Saima Bibi obtained the third position with 295 marks.
Karamat Ali, Additional Director Communication at the National Health Support Program (NHSP), Health and Population Department, Government of Punjab, and a former science teacher at the school, congratulated the students and faculty on their achievement. “Having served as a science teacher at this institution, I feel immense pride in this accomplishment. The dedication of the students, the commitment of the teachers, and the effective leadership of the administration have all contributed to this success. May they continue to excel in the future,” he said.
School Principal Ahmed Ali Shahid also expressed satisfaction over the results, terming the achievement a result of collective efforts. “This success reflects the hard work of our students, the dedication of our teachers, and the continued support of parents. We remain committed to maintaining high academic standards,” he added.
The school administration attributed the outstanding performance to consistent academic efforts, disciplined learning and strong parental support.
