Islamabad: Agricultural Development Bank Limited ZTBL and JAZZ on Monday signed an agreement to facilitate loan recovery and loan access to farmers and borrowers through advanced agricultural technology. In a function organized in this regard, the leading telecom organization Jazz gave away 1000 smart tablets to the Agricultural Development Bank which will empower the bank staff to provide convenience to the borrowers and farmers at their doorstep. The agreement was signed by Mr. Amir Hafeez Ibrahim, President/CEO of Jazz and Mr. Tahir Yaqoob Bhatti, President/CEO of Agricultural Development Bank. The top management of both institutions were also present on this occasion. These smart tablets are equipped with features like customer authentication, digitization of debt collection, providing services to customers at their doorstep, instant transactions and biometrics. This agreement will lead to the achievement of several important objectives. These include real-time customer eligibility check for loans, loan recovery, demand certificate, biometric verification from NADRA and customer credit worthiness report from State Bank of Pakistan. State-of-the-art smart devices are of great importance to the Agricultural Development Bank and its beneficiaries. The Agricultural Development Bank believes that a telecom company like Jazz can help Pakistani farmers in promoting modern scientific agriculture by introducing smart digitalization in the agricultural sector.
