PAF Destroys Taliban Headquarters in Cross-Border Strikes After Repeated Attacks

The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) carried out targeted airstrikes inside Afghanistan, destroying multiple Taliban positions, including a key headquarters, according to official statements.

The strikes were launched following repeated cross-border attacks targeting Pakistani security posts. Authorities said Pakistan responded with precision operations along the border, hitting Taliban positions one by one.

Drones Intercepted

Security forces intercepted and shot down several quadcopter drones that attempted to target Pakistani check posts. Officials described the response as swift and coordinated, involving both aerial and ground units.

Ground and aerial operations continued with the use of drones, small arms, and heavy weapons. Reports indicate that dozens of Taliban fighters were killed, while many others sustained injuries during the operation.

Key Installations Destroyed

Officials confirmed the destruction of ammunition depots, battalion facilities, and sector-level command centers. Military equipment including tanks, artillery guns, and armored personnel carriers was also reportedly destroyed.

Pakistani forces are said to have taken control of multiple enemy positions during the operation.

Border Tensions Escalate

Separately, authorities stated that Taliban forces opened unprovoked fire at several border locations. Security forces responded immediately and effectively across multiple sectors.

The situation along the border remains tense as officials continue to monitor developments.
