Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts in promoting peace and stability in the Middle East have received international recognition, as Qatar’s Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani praised Islamabad’s role during a recent telephonic conversation with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar.
According to the Foreign Office, the two leaders discussed the rapidly evolving regional situation amid rising tensions following recent military escalations involving the United States, Israel, and Iran. Both sides emphasized the urgent need for de-escalation and highlighted the importance of dialogue and diplomacy in resolving conflicts.
The Qatari Prime Minister commended Pakistan’s proactive approach in facilitating communication and promoting peaceful solutions, acknowledging Islamabad’s growing role as a key mediator in ongoing US-Iran tensions.
