Nankana Sahib (Soon Times) Pakistani Sikh Community will celebrate Pakistan Defense Day with zeal and zest and make the people of Pakistan realize the patriotic spirit of the Pakistani Sikh Community. It was told by Mr. Gopal Singh Chawla, the Chairman of Pakistan-based Sikh organization “Punjabi Sikh Sangat”. He said that his participation in the Pakistan Defense Day celebrations from the forum of “ Punjabi Sikh Sangat” was meant to mobilize the Pakistani Sikh Community and convey to the Sikhs living anywhere in the world the importance of the secure and sovereign Pakistan. He further said that a Sikh living anywhere in the world has a spiritual attachment with Pakistan because it is home of the Sikh gurus. Nankana Sahib, the holiest place for the Sikhs, is situated in Punjab, Pakistan so, said Gopal Singh Chawla, his message on this special occasion is that Pakistan is important for the Sikhs and Punjabi Sikh Sangat stand shoulder to shoulder with Pakistan Army for the defense of our homeland.
