Sargodha (Soon Times), according to sources, the three-year term of the current Vice-Chancellor of the University of Sargodha, Dr. Ishtiaq Ahmed, will end on May 29 and he is likely to step down on May 27. Sources said that there are three candidates in the fray for the post of Acting Vice-Chancellor, including the current Vice-Chancellor of Nankana University Dr. Muhammad Afzal, Dean of Pharmacy Dr.Sajid Bashir, and politically Ghulam Yaseen. The current Vice-Chancellor Group is working to appoint Dr. Muhammad Afzal as the temporary Vice-Chancellor.
