Sargodha: Governor Punjab and Chancellor Muhammad Balighur Rahman has inaugurated a new building constructed according to modern requirements of the College of Engineering and Technology in the Allama Iqbal Campus of the University of Sargodha. The main inauguration ceremony of the new building of College of Engineering and Technology in Allama Iqbal Campus was held in the auditorium of Malik Feroz Khan Noon Business School. In the ceremony, Governor Punjab formally inaugurated the new building of College of Engineering and Technology. On this occasion Vice Chancellor University of Sargodha Professor Dr. Qaiser Abbas, Pro Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Ilyas Tariq, Commissioner Sargodha Muhammad Ajmal Bhatti, RPO Shariq Kamal Siddiqui, DPO Muhammad Faisal Kamran, Principal College of Engineering and Technology Dr. Haris Aziz and others were present. On this occasion, the governor of Punjab was briefed regarding the completed development works including modern laboratories, modern library, hostels, academic block, admin block and other completed in the newly constructed building. Addressing the opening ceremony, Governor Punjab Muhammad Balighur Rahman congratulated the administration of University of Sargodha, especially Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Qaiser Abbas, on the completion of the construction project in line with modern requirements. He said, youth are the capital and valuable asset of the country. It is our responsibility to provide modern facilities for their education and training. Europe owes its development to education. There is a need to develop skills and knowledge in line with modern requirements. Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Qaiser Abbas said, University of Sargodha is providing higher education to more than 40,000 students and is preparing a generation of young people who are compatible with the requirements of today and have the ability to play a key role in the development of the country. are For this purpose, practical skills are being provided to the youth through various projects including e-employment center, career counseling center, incubation center. At the end of the ceremony, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Qaiser Abbas presented a commemorative souvenir to Governor Punjab Muhammad Balighur Rahman.
