Gohar Khan Demands Transfer of Imran Khan to Shifa Hospital, Seeks Presence of Personal Doctors

Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Gohar Khan has demanded that party founder Imran Khan be shifted from the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) to Shifa International Hospital for improved medical care. He also insisted that all future medical examinations be conducted in the presence of Khan’s personal doctors to ensure transparency and proper monitoring.

Gohar Khan made these remarks following Imran Khan’s second eye follow-up procedure at PIMS in Islamabad. According to him, he was informed about the former prime minister’s visit and the treatment carried out at the hospital. Updates regarding Imran Khan’s medical condition were provided after the procedure.

The PTI chairman emphasized that the demand aligns with the wishes of Imran Khan’s family. He stated that transferring the former prime minister to Shifa International Hospital remains the party’s top priority to ensure access to better medical facilities and consistent monitoring.

Furthermore, Gohar stressed that all medical examinations, including eye-related procedures, should be conducted under the supervision of Imran Khan’s personal physicians. He described this measure as necessary to maintain transparency, trust, and proper oversight of the treatment process.

Highlighting the importance of medical care, Gohar reiterated that PTI has consistently called for prioritizing Imran Khan’s health. He added that the party will continue to push for comprehensive and transparent medical attention for the former prime minister.
