Two Police Martyred in Khuzdar Shootout, Including Woman Constable Malik Naz

A tragic incident in Khuzdar has claimed the lives of two police personnel, including woman constable Malik Naz Baloch, during a deadly shootout with armed attackers.

According to officials, the incident took place in a remote mountainous area near Bajoi, where police were conducting a search operation following a robbery complaint. During house-to-house searches, the team came under heavy fire from terrorists believed to be hiding nearby.

Head Constable Sami Ullah and Malik Naz embraced martyrdom in the line of duty, while three other personnel sustained injuries in the exchange of fire. Authorities have launched a search operation to track down the attackers, though no group has claimed responsibility so far.

Officials described the attack as particularly significant, noting that this is one of the rare cases where a woman police officer was directly targeted during an active field operation. Malik Naz was part of the team due to the nature of the search operation involving residential areas.
