Pakistan Armed Forces Vow Unbreakable Defence on 79th Independence Day

Pakistan’s armed forces have reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to defending the country’s sovereignty, territorial integrity and national interests as the nation celebrates its 79th Independence Day.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the military leadership, including the Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal, along with the Chief of Naval Staff and Chief of Air Staff, extended their heartfelt greetings to the Pakistani nation.

The armed forces said the defence of Pakistan remains their foremost responsibility and pledged to remain vigilant against every threat to the country. They also emphasised the importance of national unity, solidarity and tolerance in maintaining peace and stability.

On the occasion, the military leadership paid tribute to Pakistan’s martyrs, Ghazis and veterans for their sacrifices and services. The armed forces said the courage and sacrifices of those who defended the country would continue to inspire future generations.

The military leadership also highlighted the vision and principles of Pakistan’s founders, stressing that these values continue to guide the nation. They called upon citizens to uphold national unity and work together to overcome challenges.

The Independence Day message comes as Pakistan celebrates its 79th year with patriotic ceremonies, flag-hoisting events, fireworks and celebrations across the country.
