Singer and songwriter Bilal Maqsood is bringing back his popular children’s programme Pakkay Dost with its fourth season, featuring a fresh collection of educational songs, entertainment and Urdu-language lessons for young audiences.

The programme aims to make learning enjoyable by combining music, humour and simple lessons. Bilal Maqsood has explained that the central idea behind Pakkay Dost is to provide healthy and wholesome entertainment in Urdu while presenting the language in a fun, modern and relatable way for children.
The fourth season will explore a variety of educational topics, including Urdu, physical fitness, kindness towards animals, vegetables and the human body. Through catchy songs and performances, children can learn new information without feeling as though they are attending a traditional classroom lesson.
One of the upcoming performances features actor Syra Yousuf dancing to a song about the history of the Urdu language. The performance introduces children to words and vocabulary influenced by languages such as Arabic and Turkish while keeping the learning experience entertaining.
Other songs focus on healthy habits and physical exercise, while additional performances teach children the names of different vegetables and information about bones and joints in the human body.
According to Bilal Maqsood, Pakkay Dost now features more than 50 songs covering a wide range of subjects and facts. He has encouraged parents to watch the programme alongside their children, highlighting its appeal to both young viewers and adults.
