LAHORE: The Punjab government has appointed Dr Ali Razaque, Chief Executive Officer of the Punjab Health Initiatives Management Company (PHIMC), as a Non-Official Member of the Board of Governors of Cadet College Hasanabdal for a term of three years.
According to a notification issued by the School Education Department, the appointment has been made by the Governor of Punjab, who is also Chairman of the Board of Governors, under the relevant provisions of the Punjab Government Educational and Training Institutions Ordinance, 1960, and the Punjab Government Rules of Business, 2011.
Dr Ali Razaque is among a distinguished group of eminent professionals and public office holders nominated to the board, including senior civil servants, military officers, legal experts, academics and corporate leaders.
The Board of Governors is responsible for providing strategic guidance, institutional oversight and policy support for Cadet College Hasanabdal, one of the country’s leading residential educational institutions.
The notification states that the newly nominated non-official members will serve on the Board for a period of three years.
