Raja Faisal Mumtaz Rathore, the Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, has strongly asserted the political dominance of the Pakistan Peoples Party, stating that no rival party can match its performance in practical politics.
Addressing a public gathering in Abbaspur, Rathore emphasized that while opposition parties may remain active on social media platforms, real political strength lies in ground performance and public service. He challenged rival political forces to compete with the PPP in upcoming elections based on governance and development achievements.
The AJK premier highlighted that his government has successfully revived development projects, strengthened state institutions, and restored public trust after facing significant challenges at the start of his tenure. According to him, the administration focused on implementation rather than mere announcements, delivering tangible progress across the region.
Rathore also underlined the historical role of the PPP in building key infrastructure in AJK, including universities, medical colleges, and public welfare initiatives. He claimed that governance had been revitalized under his leadership, leading to improved political stability and confidence among citizens.
Confident about the future, he stated that the PPP is well-positioned across all constituencies and will contest the upcoming elections with strong public support. He reiterated that the party remains a symbol of federation and a major force in Pakistan’s political landscape.
The AJK Prime Minister concluded by expressing optimism about electoral success, stating that the PPP would return to power with even greater strength in the next elections.
