The Balochistan government has launched a digital Business Facilitation Centre (BFC), marking a major step toward improving the province’s investment climate and simplifying business procedures.
The initiative was introduced by the Balochistan Board of Investment and Trade, with CEO Qaim Lashari highlighting its importance in modernising the business environment.
The Business Facilitation Centre is designed as a one-window digital platform that allows entrepreneurs to access all key services required to start and manage a business. These services include licensing, registration, and other regulatory requirements, all available through a single system.
By eliminating the need to visit multiple government departments, the platform aims to reduce procedural delays and make it easier for investors to operate in the province. Officials say this digital approach will improve efficiency and transparency in business-related processes.
The development was presented during a briefing to the Quetta Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where business leaders welcomed the initiative.
Chamber President Haji Muhammad Ayub Miryani described the centre as a long-awaited solution for the business community, addressing challenges related to complex procedures and multiple approvals.
The Balochistan government aims to strengthen investor confidence through this initiative by creating a more business-friendly environment. The digital platform is expected to streamline administrative processes and support economic growth in the province.
This move reflects a broader effort to modernise governance systems and promote ease of doing business, making Balochistan more attractive for local and international investors.
