Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab Abdul Karim has taken disciplinary action against two police officers, directing both officials to report to the Central Police Office (CPO), Punjab, Lahore. The move reflects the Punjab Police’s continued focus on accountability, discipline, and improved performance within the force.
According to official details, Additional SP Headquarters Rawalpindi Mudassar Iqbal has been instructed to report to the Central Police Office in Lahore following orders issued by the Punjab Police leadership. The transfer is part of administrative measures aimed at strengthening internal oversight and ensuring efficient policing.
In a separate action, DSP Headquarters Rawalpindi Imtiaz Ahmad has been suspended over allegations of negligence in duty, carelessness, and unsatisfactory professional performance. Following his suspension, he has also been ordered to report to the Central Police Office, Punjab, for further departmental proceedings.
The official notifications regarding both officers were issued by DIG Headquarters Dr. Muhammad Abid Khan, confirming the disciplinary measures taken by the Punjab Police administration.
