Iqbal Afridi Claims Imran Khan Said PTI Ignored His Instructions

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and Member of the National Assembly Iqbal Afridi has claimed that jailed former Prime Minister Imran Khan told him that members of the party were not following his instructions.

According to a video statement shared on social media by PTI Senator Faisal Javed Khan, Afridi said he met Imran Khan at Adiala Jail, where the former premier allegedly expressed concerns over the party’s internal affairs. Afridi claimed that Imran Khan told him the party was not listening to his directives.

Afridi said he assured the PTI founder of his loyalty and stated that anyone betraying the party leadership deserved strong condemnation. He further claimed that he never met Imran Khan again after that conversation and suggested that if he had another opportunity to meet him and learn the names of those allegedly disobeying party instructions, the situation would have been different.

In the video statement, Afridi also made controversial remarks, saying that if he were allowed another meeting and Imran Khan identified those allegedly ignoring his directives, he would take action against them. The comments attracted attention on social media due to the threatening language used.

So far, PTI leadership has not issued an official response to Afridi’s claims, and Imran Khan has not publicly commented on the statements attributed to him. The remarks have fueled fresh discussion about internal party dynamics and leadership within PTI.
