PM Shehbaz Sharif Holds Eid-ul-Azha Calls With Top Political Leadership

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held several telephonic conversations with senior political and constitutional leaders on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, extending Eid greetings and conveying best wishes for peace, prosperity and national stability.

During the calls, the prime minister spoke separately with Asif Ali Zardari and discussed matters related to national harmony and cooperation.

He also contacted the governors of Punjab, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, along with the chief ministers of Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan and Gilgit-Baltistan.

The prime minister further reached out to the Speaker of the National Assembly and several federal ministers, including Ameer Muqam and Khalid Magsi. He also held a conversation with veteran political leader Aftab Sherpao.

During the discussions, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif prayed for Pakistan’s prosperity and stressed the need for peace, progress and political stability in the country.

He emphasized the importance of unity among political and institutional stakeholders and highlighted the need for stronger coordination between the federal government and provincial administrations for effective governance.

The prime minister stated that cooperation between the federation and provinces is essential to improve public services and provide relief to citizens across the country.

He reaffirmed that the federal government would continue working closely with all provinces to ensure public welfare, strengthen governance and promote national harmony.

The Eid-ul-Azha interactions reflected ongoing efforts to maintain communication and coordination among Pakistan’s political leadership during an important national and religious occasion.
