LAHORE: The Punjab government has initiated another round of administrative reshuffling, transferring and appointing senior officers to key positions across municipal services, urban management, district administration and food administration.
According to a notification issued by the Services & General Administration Department (S&GAD) on September 2, 2026, the transfers and postings have been made with immediate effect by order of the Governor of Punjab.
Under the latest administrative orders, Khurram Pervaiz (PAS/BS-18), who was serving as Chief Executive Officer of the Punjab Rural Municipal Services Company (PRMSC) and Project Director of the Punjab Rural Sustainable Water Supply and Sanitation Project (PRSWSSP), has been transferred. He has been directed to report to the S&GAD and await further orders.
Capt. (Retd.) Aun Haider Gondal (PAS/BS-19), who was awaiting posting in the S&GAD, has been appointed CEO of PRMSC and Project Director of PRSWSSP. His appointment has been made on an acting-charge basis and on deputation.
The government has also changed the leadership of the Lahore Parking Company. Naveed-ul-Islam Virk (PMS/BS-18), who was serving as CEO of the company, has been transferred and posted as Director of the Chief Minister’s Inspection Team, Central Region, Lahore, against an existing vacancy under Section 9 of the PCS Act, 1974.
Tahir Javaid Cheema (PAS/BS-18), who was serving as an Officer on Special Duty in the S&GAD, has been appointed CEO of the Lahore Parking Company on deputation, replacing Naveed-ul-Islam Virk.
Further changes have been made in the Gujranwala district administration. Ansir Saghir (PMS/BS-17), Additional Deputy Commissioner (Headquarters), Gujranwala, has been transferred and directed to report to the S&GAD for further orders.
Sheher Yar (PAS/BS-18), who was awaiting posting in the S&GAD, has been appointed Additional Deputy Commissioner (Headquarters), Gujranwala, with immediate effect.
In another major posting, Farhan Ahmed (PAS/BS-18), who was also awaiting posting in the S&GAD, has had his services placed at the disposal of the Director General, Punjab Food Authority (PFA) on deputation. He will subsequently be adjusted as Additional Director General (Operations).
The latest Punjab bureaucracy reshuffle affects several important administrative and public service positions, with the government making changes in municipal services, parking management, district administration and food authority operations.
