Trump Praises Pakistan Again for Role in US-Iran Peace Efforts

United States President Donald Trump has once again praised Pakistan for its active role in supporting peace efforts between the United States and Iran. Speaking in an interview, Trump expressed “great respect for Pakistan,” calling its efforts “terrific” in facilitating dialogue and attempting to ease tensions.

Trump emphasized that Iran could directly reach out to the US if it wished to negotiate an end to the ongoing conflict. He also made it clear that any future agreement would include strict conditions, particularly regarding nuclear weapons, stating that Iran cannot possess nuclear capabilities under any deal.

The remarks come amid ongoing diplomatic efforts where Pakistan has been playing a key mediating role. Trump also appreciated Pakistan’s leadership, including Shehbaz Sharif and Asim Munir, for their contributions toward peace talks and regional stability.

Despite recent setbacks, including the cancellation of a planned visit by US envoys, Pakistan continues to be involved in efforts to bring both sides back to negotiations. The situation remains dynamic, with global attention focused on whether diplomacy can lead to a lasting resolution.
