ISLAMABAD: Electric scooter manufacturer Easybike has established battery sweeping centers at 40 different locations in Rawalpindi, Islamabad. Citizens using electric bikes will be able to change the battery of electric scooters at a very low cost from these sweeping centers. In this regard, well-known politicians Senator Zafarullah Khan, Amna Sheikh, Zahra Fatemi, vice chancellors of various universities, journalists and people from different walks of life participated in the event. Addressing the participants of the event, Chief Guest Senator Zafarullah Khan said that the manufacturing of electric scooters in Pakistan is very welcome, thanks to electric scooters, there has been a significant help in providing affordable rides to the citizens along with keeping the environment clean. He said that the invention of electric scooters is an important revolution to overcome the challenges like rising prices of petroleum products and traffic noise and diseases spread by smoke and the establishment of this industry in a city like Islamabad and the requirements of the modern age. Advances in line with this are very welcome.
On this occasion, Ali Moin and Muhammad Hadi, founders of EasyBike, said that the process of establishing electric bike manufacturing and battery sweeping network in Pakistan has come at a time when the auto industry is moving towards environment-friendly green technology worldwide.
