Awais Ahmed Khan Leghari has stated that the rise in electricity consumption in Pakistan reflects the positive impact of the government’s energy reforms.
He made these remarks during a meeting in Islamabad with Bolormaa Amgaabazar, where discussions focused on improving the country’s energy sector.

The Power Division has already reviewed concessional tariffs for industries and is currently developing time-of-use pricing proposals. These measures are expected to enhance efficiency and improve competitiveness in the power sector.
