Islamabad (Soon Times) XEN Highway Division Sargodha Rana Azhar has broken previous records of corruption. In the tender issued for the repair of 5 km road from Ajnala Road to Chak 35 N.B, the tenders were issued to the contractor of his choice. He used faulty materials in road’s repair and ignored specifications. He refused to build a ramp included in the road repair estimate. Alleged corruption has benefited due to political pressure and personal preference off the map. The 2,000-foot road leading to the village cemetery was overlooked. XEN Rana Azhar has allegedly committed corruption of crores of rupees in the construction and repair of roads across the district. Local dignitaries Khan Jalil Khan Baloch, Khan Qayyum Mumtaz Baloch, Atta Muhammad Awan, Mian Muhammad Awan and others have sent written requests to the Director Anti-Corruption Sargodha and Chairman NAB Islamabad to investigate the corruption of XEN Highway Division Sargodha and to investigate the matter. The petitions call for an inquiry into the tender estimates issued by Corrupt XEN and the construction of substandard road on the site. The corrupt XEN should be arrested and the embezzled money should be recovered and send him to jail.
