Iran Drone Attack Sparks Massive Fire at UAE’s Fujairah Port

Tensions in the Gulf region escalated after a suspected drone attack reportedly launched by Iran caused a massive fire at Fujairah Port in the United Arab Emirates.

According to reports, the attack occurred on Sunday and forced several oil loading operations at the port to halt temporarily due to safety concerns.

Witnesses and U.S. sources reported seeing thick clouds of smoke rising from the port area, indicating significant damage caused by the incident.

UAE air defense systems reportedly responded quickly and successfully intercepted multiple threats during the attack.

Officials stated that nine ballistic missiles and 33 drones targeting the port were shot down before reaching their intended targets.

Despite the successful interceptions, the attack still resulted in a fire at Fujairah Port, disrupting routine operations and placing authorities on high alert.

Emergency response teams were immediately deployed to control the blaze and secure the surrounding areas.

The incident comes at a time when tensions in the Middle East are already high due to ongoing regional conflicts.

Reports also indicated that Iran had recently launched retaliatory strikes against Israel, with several explosions reported in Tel Aviv that caused fires in different parts of the city.

Meanwhile, UAE authorities rejected claims made by the Iranian government suggesting that U.S. military forces launched an attack on Iran’s Kharg Island from UAE territory.

Officials described these allegations as baseless and reaffirmed the country’s commitment to regional stability.

At the same time, the Iranian military reportedly issued warnings to industries associated with the United States, advising them to maintain distance from each other.

The warnings also included cautionary messages for Iranian citizens to stay away from U.S. military bases located near major ports such as Jebel Ali Port, Khalifa Port, and Fujairah Port.

Security experts warn that the growing use of drones and missiles in regional conflicts could pose serious risks to commercial infrastructure and global trade routes.

Given the Gulf region’s importance in global oil supply and shipping, any disruption at key ports could potentially impact international energy markets.

Authorities in the UAE continue to monitor the situation closely while emergency teams work to fully contain the fire and restore normal operations at Fujairah Port.
