Sargodha (Soon Times), Commissioner Nabil Javed chaired a meeting on Solid Waste Management, Diesel Situation, Price Control, Supply and Demand for Urea Fertilizer, Wheat Procurement Campaign and Chief Secretary Punjab Public Welfare in the four districts of the division. The progress made so far on the measures was reviewed in detail. The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Sargodha Muhammad Asghar Joya, Deputy Commissioner Khushab Aurangzeb Haider Khan, Deputy Commissioner Mianwali Khurram Shehzad, Deputy Commissioner Bhakkar Imran Hamid Sheikh, Director Agriculture Faiz Ahmed Kundi, Director Local Government Asif Iqbal Malik, Deputy Director Food Dr. Muhammad Zia and CO. Relevant officers including Municipal Corporation Tariq Parvia were present. Commissioner Nabil Javed directed the four Deputy Commissioners to prepare detailed recommendations regarding solid waste management and send them to their offices. In the meeting, the Director of Local Government presented recommendations for future planning in addition to the existing manpower and machinery of the Municipal Corporation. The meeting was also briefed about the situation of diesel in the division and it was informed that out of a total of 781 petrol pumps in the four districts, only 5 urban and 6 roller petrol pumps are reporting less than normal delivery of diesel. The meeting also reviewed the wheat procurement drive. The meeting also reviewed the progress on price control, the subsidy provided in Ramadan bazaars and general markets in the four districts, and also on the public welfare points of the Chief Secretary Punjab.
