Pakistan Launches Operation Ghazab Lil Haq, Conducts Airstrikes in Afghanistan

Pakistan’s armed forces have launched a major military operation named Operation Ghazab Lil Haq, carrying out targeted airstrikes inside Afghanistan, according to security sources.

Officials confirmed that footage of the airstrikes has been released, showing successful strikes against militant hideouts and infrastructure believed to be linked to extremist groups.

The strikes reportedly took place during the night between March 14 and March 15, as Pakistani forces targeted locations associated with the Afghan Taliban and a militant faction referred to as Fitna al-Khawarij.

Security sources stated that multiple militant positions and operational facilities were successfully destroyed during the operation.

Among the targets were technical support sites and equipment storage facilities located in Kandahar, which were allegedly being used by militants for planning and executing operations.

According to officials, the airstrikes were conducted with precision to disrupt the operational capabilities of these groups and reduce the threat posed to Pakistan’s national security.

Security authorities emphasized that Operation Ghazab Lil Haq is an ongoing mission, and further operations will continue until all strategic objectives are achieved.

The development comes amid growing concerns over cross-border militant activities and regional security challenges along the Pakistan–Afghanistan border.

Military analysts believe the operation signals Pakistan’s strong stance against militant networks that are believed to operate from across the border.

Meanwhile, another security-related development occurred in Afghanistan’s Takhar province, where fighters from the National Resistance Front (NRF) reportedly carried out an attack.

During the incident, Badakhshan police chief Mirajuddin was killed, according to reports from local sources.

The situation highlights the ongoing instability in parts of Afghanistan and the complex security dynamics affecting the broader region.

Experts say that continued cooperation and stability in the region will be essential to prevent further escalation and ensure long-term peace.
