Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reaffirmed Pakistan’s strong commitment to expanding cooperation with Saudi Arabia across multiple sectors, particularly trade, investment, and economic development. The statement came during a high-level meeting with Saudi Finance Minister Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Jadaan at the Prime Minister’s House in Islamabad.
The meeting highlighted the deep-rooted and longstanding fraternal ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif conveyed his warm regards to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, appreciating the Kingdom’s consistent support for Pakistan’s economic stability.
Senior Pakistani leadership, including Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir, also attended the meeting. The discussions focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation and exploring new opportunities for trade and investment between the two countries.
The prime minister emphasized that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have always stood shoulder to shoulder in times of need, reflecting a relationship built on trust, mutual respect, and shared values. He also acknowledged the vital role played by Saudi Arabia in supporting Pakistan through challenging economic periods.
Saudi Finance Minister Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Jadaan reaffirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations further, in line with the vision of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. Both sides expressed optimism about future collaboration and agreed to continue working closely for mutual economic growth and regional stability.
This meeting marks another important step in reinforcing Pakistan–Saudi Arabia relations, highlighting the importance of strategic partnerships in fostering economic development and diplomatic cooperation.
