In Sargodha, police launched a crackdown on a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protest rally, resorting to baton-charging PTI workers. During the clash, law enforcement arrested dozens of participants, including three members of the Provincial Assembly. According to details, PTI workers attempted to hold a rally in the Satellite Town area, upon which a heavy contingent of police intervened, using force to disperse the crowd. The arrested assembly members, Ansar Haral, Asif Ali Baga, Zulfiqar Ali Bhatti, and other detained workers, are now facing legal action.
