15 Militants Killed in Security Forces Operations in Balochistan

Security forces carried out two successful intelligence-based operations in Balochistan, resulting in the killing of 15 militants during intense exchanges of fire. The operations were conducted after security agencies received credible intelligence regarding the presence of militant hideouts in different areas of the province.

According to official sources, the first operation was launched in the Harnai district of Balochistan. Security forces targeted a suspected militant hideout after confirming their presence in the area. During the operation, troops engaged the militants in a gun battle, leading to the elimination of several terrorists.

In another intelligence-led operation conducted in the Basima area, security forces tracked militants linked to anti-state groups. During the exchange of fire, three militants supported by India were killed. The operation also resulted in the recovery of a large cache of weapons and ammunition from the militants.

Authorities stated that the militants were involved in multiple acts of violence, sabotage, and attacks against security forces and civilians in the region. Their elimination is considered a major step in maintaining peace and stability in Balochistan.

Following the operations, security teams launched sanitization activities in surrounding areas to ensure that no militants remain hidden in nearby locations. Officials confirmed that search operations will continue until the entire region is cleared.

Security authorities reiterated that Pakistan’s armed forces remain fully committed to eliminating terrorism from the country. Intelligence-based operations will continue across sensitive areas to maintain law and order and protect the citizens of Pakistan.

These operations highlight the ongoing efforts of security forces to combat terrorism and ensure long-term peace in Balochistan and across the country.
