Pakistan has strongly condemned Israel’s ongoing military operations in Gaza and the West Bank, reiterating its unwavering support for the Palestinian people amid escalating violence in the region.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar expressed deep concern over the continued airstrikes and military actions, describing them as a violation of international law and human rights. The condemnation comes despite a fragile ceasefire that has been in place in Gaza since late 2025.
According to reports from Palestinian health authorities, recent airstrikes targeted key locations, including police checkpoints, resulting in civilian casualties, including children. The situation in the West Bank has also deteriorated, with increased military operations and tensions further worsening the humanitarian crisis.
Pakistan has consistently maintained a principled stance on the Palestinian issue, advocating for the rights and protection of civilians. The Foreign Office emphasized that Islamabad stands firmly with the people of Gaza and West Bank, calling for an immediate end to hostilities and adherence to international humanitarian laws.
During bilateral talks with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty, both sides discussed the worsening situation in the Middle East and stressed the importance of de-escalation through dialogue and diplomacy. Pakistan also acknowledged Egypt’s role in facilitating humanitarian assistance for affected populations in Gaza.
The conflict, which intensified following the events of October 2023, has resulted in a significant loss of life, with thousands of casualties reported over the past months. The continued violence has raised serious concerns among the international community regarding regional stability and human rights violations.
Pakistan has urged global powers and international organizations to take immediate action to ensure the protection of Palestinian civilians and to work toward a peaceful resolution of the conflict. Islamabad has repeatedly called for justice, accountability, and the recognition of Palestinian rights in line with international resolutions.
As tensions persist, Pakistan continues to advocate for peace, stability, and a diplomatic solution to the crisis, emphasizing the need for collective global efforts to prevent further humanitarian suffering in the region.
