KP Government Launches 96 New Flats for Public Employees in Peshawar

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has taken a significant step toward improving the living conditions of public sector employees by inaugurating a new residential project in Peshawar. This project, consisting of 96 modern flats, is located in the Civil Quarters area and is specifically designed to provide comfortable and secure housing for government employees.

The multi-storey residential complex offers fully equipped flats with modern amenities, including electricity, water, gas supply, and dedicated parking spaces. Security measures have been implemented to ensure the safety of residents, and each apartment has been thoughtfully designed to provide adequate living space for families. The project was completed with substantial financial investment, highlighting the provincial government’s commitment to employee welfare and quality of life improvement.

During the inauguration ceremony, Chief Minister Sohail Afridi emphasized the importance of providing quality housing to civil servants, acknowledging their critical role in the administration and governance of the province. He stated that proper housing not only enhances the standard of living for employees and their families but also boosts morale, productivity, and overall job satisfaction.

This initiative aligns with the broader vision of national development, reflecting past government directives and the emphasis placed by leaders like Imran Khan on addressing housing shortages across Pakistan. The KP government has assured that similar development projects will continue in the future, focusing on infrastructure improvements and employee welfare.

The housing scheme has been widely welcomed as a positive measure for public sector employees who often face challenges in securing safe and affordable accommodation. By providing these flats, the government aims to create a stable, motivated, and satisfied workforce while addressing the pressing housing needs in Peshawar. This project marks a key milestone in the province’s ongoing efforts to enhance living standards and demonstrates the commitment of the KP government toward sustainable urban development and employee-centric policies.
