Sargodha: Former President District Bar Association, Leader PTI and Chairman of Tanzeem-Ul-Awan International Punjab Malik Shafqat Abbas Awan Advocate High Court is being illegally detained under 3 MPO and is not being allowed to meet. The local administration, especially DPO Naseer Kamran and DC Captain (R) Shoaib Ali are taking revenge against him out of personal grudge. Instead of allowing a meeting with Shafqat Awan, they are being evasive. Also the lawyers community is being harassed for raising voice in his favor. Secretary General Syed Zameer Shirazi’s house was also attacked. According to the Sargodha police, they are forced to take action because they get orders from elsewhere. There has been a wave of concern in public circles that a public leader like Shafqat Awan can be disappeared like missing persons. According to the sources, the conspiracy of his extrajudicial killing is also not out of the question. The Caretaker Government and the Chief Justice Supreme Court should take immediate notice of the matter and order the release of Shafqat Awan against the illegal actions of DC and DPO Sargodha.
