ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has extended heartfelt greetings to the people of Pakistan and Muslims across the globe on the arrival of the holy month of Ramazan 1447 Hijra.
In his official message, the prime minister described Ramazan as a sacred blessing that provides an opportunity for spiritual renewal, devotion, humility, and self-purification. He emphasized that fasting is not merely a religious duty but a practical training in patience, discipline, and responsibility in everyday life.
The premier highlighted that Ramazan promotes compassion, sacrifice, and social harmony. He urged citizens to remember the underprivileged and fulfill their social responsibilities during the blessed month.
Shehbaz Sharif also announced that the government has launched a special Ramazan Relief Package, ensuring financial assistance is delivered to deserving families through digital wallets in a dignified and transparent manner. The initiative aims to help households fully participate in Sehri and Iftar during Ramazan.
The prime minister prayed for peace, stability, prosperity, and progress for Pakistan and the entire Muslim Ummah, asking Allah Almighty to accept individual and collective acts of worship during this sacred month.
