Following the meetings, Rubio shared a statement on social media congratulating Pakistan for supporting the US-led Gaza peace initiative and for becoming a founding member of the newly formed Peace Board. He described Pakistan’s diplomatic role as constructive and forward-looking.
Discussions also covered cooperation in rare earth minerals, investment opportunities, development partnerships, and joint counter-terrorism efforts. Both sides expressed interest in expanding economic engagement, particularly in critical mineral sectors that are gaining global importance.
