Sargodha: The Chairman of Higher Education Commission, Prof. Mukhtar Ahmed, addressed an interactive session titled & Challenges for Higher Education: A way Forward’ organized by the University of Sargodha. The event was held at the university’s main campus and was attended by senior faculty members, administrative officers and other distinguished guests. The Vice Chancellor of the University of Sargodha, Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas, welcomed the distinguished guests. He emphasized the importance of research and innovation in higher education and vowed that the university is committed to providing its students with the best possible education. During his address, Prof. Mukhtar Ahmed emphasized the importance of education and the role of teachers, which he compared to that of prophets. He also highlighted the need for producing industry-ready graduates who can contribute to the development of the country’s economy. He highlighted the importance of collaboration between universities, industry, and the government to address challenges faced by the education sector in Pakistan. The speech was followed by a question-answer session, during which the audience had the opportunity to ask questions and engage in a discussion with the distinguished guest.
