Sargodha (Soon Times), Asma Ijaz Cheema, Regional Director Anti-Corruption Sargodha, in accordance with the vision of the Punjab Government’s Corruption Free Punjab and on the special instructions of Director General Anti-Corruption Punjab Mr. Rai Manzoor Nasir, the Anti-Corruption Department Sargodha is active against the corruption mafia. On a daily basis, corrupt accused across the division are being arrested for taking bribes. According to the details, Faqir Bashir-ud-Din, resident of Alamabad, Awan Kot Bhakkar, requested Regional Director, Anti-Corruption, Sargodha, Asma Ijaz Cheema that Muhammad Iqbal, Game Watcher, had filed a false application for registration of case against my son in Mankera Police Station. He is asking for a bribe to withdraw the application. On which Regional Director Anti-Corruption Sargodha ordered Shehzad Faiz, Circle Officer, Anti-Corruption Bhakkar to raid. Shehzad Faiz, Circle Officer, under the supervision of Faiz Ahmed Judicial Magistrate, raided and arrested Muhammad Iqbal, Game Watcher, Wildlife Department, Bhakkar, on the spot after recovering marked notes including Rs. 11,000. Case No. 2/2022 against the accused has been registered in Anti-Corruption Police Station Bhakkar. Further investigation is underway against the accused.
