Sargodha (Soon Times), Approval is underway to start work on 116 new development schemes for the four districts of the division in the Annual Development Program for the year 2021-22 at an estimated cost of Rs 10 billion 52 crore. A meeting of the Divisional Development Working Party chaired by Commissioner Dr. Farah Masood approved 42 more development schemes. The working party has so far approved 103 development schemes. The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Sargodha Naila Baqir, Deputy Commissioner Mianwali, Deputy Commissioner Bhakkar, Director Development, Director Colleges, SE Highways, SE Building, SE Public Health, and SE Lower Jhelum Canal besides other officers of different construction departments attended the meeting. Commissioner Dr. Farah Masood directed the concerned departments to prepare estimates of the remaining schemes in two days and submit them to their offices. The meeting approved three primary secondary health schemes in Bhakkar district, one local government scheme in Khushab district, four higher education schemes in Mianwali, 32 roads, and one supply and drainage scheme. Commissioner Dr. Farah Masood urged the construction departments to ensure better utilization of the funds provided in a transparent manner. All development schemes should be completed within the stipulated time.
