Gold prices in Pakistan have reached a new record high following another sharp increase in both international and local bullion markets. The latest surge has pushed the price of 24-carat gold to its highest-ever level, raising concerns among buyers, investors, and those planning weddings.
According to market data, the international bullion market recorded a $46 per ounce increase, taking the global gold price to $4,114 per ounce. The rise in international prices was quickly reflected in Pakistan’s local bullion markets.
The price of 24-carat gold increased by Rs4,600 per tola, bringing the new rate to Rs433,836 per tola. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs3,944, reaching Rs371,944.
Silver prices also witnessed an upward trend. The price of silver per tola increased by Rs7 to Rs6,403, while 10 grams of silver rose by Rs6, reaching Rs5,489.
Market experts attribute the continued rise in gold and silver prices to growing global demand for safe-haven assets, economic uncertainty, and fluctuations in international commodity markets. As precious metals continue to gain value, traders and investors are closely monitoring global developments that could influence future price movements.
Consumers are advised to stay updated with daily bullion rates before making investment decisions or purchasing gold jewelry, as local prices remain closely tied to international market trends and currency fluctuations.
