British High Commissioner Jane Marriott Meets Deputy PM Ishaq Dar in Islamabad

British High Commissioner to Pakistan Jane Marriott met Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar in Islamabad to discuss bilateral relations, matters of mutual interest and ways to further strengthen cooperation between Pakistan and the United Kingdom.

During the meeting, Jane Marriott conveyed her greetings and congratulated Pakistan on the occasion of its Independence Day. Both sides reviewed the positive developments in Pakistan-UK relations and stressed the importance of maintaining regular diplomatic engagement.

Ishaq Dar welcomed the progress in bilateral ties and referred to his recent meeting with the British Foreign Secretary in Manila. He highlighted the importance of continued high-level contacts in building mutual understanding and strengthening cooperation between Islamabad and London.
