Karachi Weather Update: Hot and Humid Conditions Continue With Chance of Light Drizzle

Karachi is expected to experience hot and humid weather over the next 24 hours, with partly cloudy skies and a possibility of light drizzle in some areas, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD). While isolated drizzle may occur, the overall weather is expected to remain warm and uncomfortable due to high humidity levels.

The Meteorological Department has forecast that Karachi’s maximum temperature will range between 33°C and 35°C, while the minimum temperature recorded during the past 24 hours was 28.5°C. Sea breezes are continuing to blow across the city at a speed of approximately 18 kilometres per hour, helping maintain some air circulation.

Humidity levels in Karachi have reached 78 percent, making the weather feel significantly warmer than the actual temperature. Residents are advised to stay hydrated, avoid unnecessary outdoor activities during peak afternoon hours, and take precautions against heat-related illnesses.

Weather experts have also indicated that rainfall is likely to begin across most parts of Sindh from August 2, which could provide relief from the ongoing hot and humid conditions. However, weather patterns may vary across different districts of the province.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department will continue monitoring the developing weather system and issue further updates as necessary. Citizens are encouraged to stay informed through official weather advisories and remain prepared for changing weather conditions.
