Pakistani pensioners can now obtain their Proof of Life certificate free of charge without visiting a bank or pension office. The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has introduced a nationwide digital facility through the Pak ID mobile app, making the process easier for elderly, bedridden and differently abled pensioners.
Eligible pensioners can complete identity verification through the app and obtain their Proof of Life certificate from home. Family members can also assist pensioners who are unable to use the application themselves.
The facility is also available free of charge through NADRA Registration Centres, Union Councils, e-Sahulat franchises and mobile registration services across Pakistan. NADRA has established a National Pensioners Register to help pension authorities and authorised banks verify pensioners’ identity and life status digitally
