LAHORE: Educational institutions across Punjab, including schools in Lahore, have reopened after more than two and a half months of summer vacation, marking the return of students and teachers to classrooms.
According to a notification issued by the Punjab Education Department, schools will resume academic activities under revised timings for single-shift and double-shift institutions.

Under the announced schedule, single-shift schools will operate from 8am to 1:30pm.
For double-shift schools, the first session will run from 8am to noon, while the second session will begin at 1pm and continue until 5:30pm.
The reopening brings an end to the province-wide summer break and marks the resumption of regular educational activities across Punjab.
Students and teachers have returned to schools following the extended vacation, while educational institutions are expected to continue classes according to the schedule issued by the provincial authorities.
The reopening of schools comes as Punjab continues to focus on maintaining regular academic activities and ensuring that educational institutions operate according to the department’s prescribed timetable.
The latest school schedule is particularly important for students and parents as they adjust to the end of the summer holidays and the return to routine classroom activities.
Schools across Lahore and other districts of Punjab are now expected to follow the notified timings, with separate arrangements in place for institutions operating in double shifts.
