The federal government has proposed an allocation of more than Rs259 billion for internal security in the Budget 2026-27, reflecting its continued focus on strengthening law enforcement capabilities and maintaining peace and stability across Pakistan.
According to official budget documents, the proposed funds will be utilized to enhance the operational capacity of security institutions, modernize policing systems, upgrade security infrastructure, and improve coordination among agencies responsible for maintaining law and order.
