Security forces have killed three militants in an intelligence-based operation in Mastung district of Balochistan, according to security sources.
The operation targeted militants linked to Fitna al-Hindustan, who were allegedly involved in activities against security forces and were suspected of planning further attacks in the area.
According to the sources, security personnel tracked a vehicle carrying the militants during the operation. The vehicle was subsequently targeted with a quadcopter, resulting in its destruction and the deaths of all three militants travelling inside.
One of those killed was identified by security sources as a militant commander named Naqeeb. The operation was carried out as part of continuing intelligence-based efforts to disrupt militant networks operating in Balochistan.
Security sources said the action was aimed at preventing the militants from carrying out further attacks against security personnel and civilians in the region. The operation also forms part of broader efforts to counter militant activity and improve security across the province.
