Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) provincial chief Senator Maulana Abdul Wasey have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening peace and security in Balochistan, emphasizing unity and collective action to address the province’s security challenges.
During a meeting in Quetta, the two leaders reviewed the overall law and order situation and discussed measures to improve peace and stability across the province. Chief Minister Bugti said establishing lasting peace remains the provincial government’s highest priority and stressed that cooperation among political, religious, and social leaders is essential to achieving this objective.
Bugti emphasized that national unity is critical in countering terrorism and anti-state elements. He reiterated the government’s commitment to protecting the lives and property of citizens while promoting development, prosperity, and the rule of law throughout Balochistan.
Senator Maulana Abdul Wasey highlighted the importance of consultation, political consensus, and national cohesion. He said the province’s security and governance challenges can only be addressed through joint efforts involving all stakeholders.
In a separate engagement, Chief Minister Bugti visited the residence of martyred District and Sessions Judge Abdul Hakeem Kakar to offer condolences to the bereaved family. He paid tribute to the judge’s services and sacrifice, acknowledging his contributions to the justice system and the rule of law.
The meeting reflects the provincial leadership’s continued focus on strengthening peace, enhancing security, and encouraging cooperation among political and social leaders to ensure long-term stability in Balochistan.
